Angelina Jolie (born Angelina Jolie Voight on June 4, 1975) is an American film actor, a former fashion model, and a Goodwill Ambassador for the UN Refugee Agency.

Tom Cruise and Katie Holmes: Holmes began dating actor Tom Cruise. Their first public appearance together was on April 29 in Rome, Italy, at the David di Donatello Awards, the Italian equivalent of the Oscars. Her family expressed support, with her father stating, “We’re very excited for Katie”, and saying his daughter was “a very mature young lady with a good head on her shoulders. From all we have read and heard about [Cruise], he’s a humanitarian and a real class act. From the perspective of a parent, we’re very excited for both of them”. Holmes’s sister Tamara said, “They’re both wonderful people.” 

Endorsement : Neutrogena made Panettiere the cover girl for their new worldwide ad campaign; following in the footsteps of actresses Josie Bissett, Jennifer Love Hewitt, Mandy Moore, Kristin Kreuk, Mischa Barton, Gabrielle Union and Jennifer Freeman.

Education : Panettiere attended South Orangetown Middle School in New York but following 7th grade, finished her high-school education via home schooling[4] and has postponed higher education due to her dedication to an acting career, though she has expressed an interest in “continuing to learn”.  

The Guardian praised the album’s melodies and her effort, giving it 4 out of 5 stars and writing, “Unlike previous Britney albums, In the Zone has no filler and no shoddy cover versions, just 57 varieties of blue-chip hit-factory pop. There is southern hip-hop, deep house, Neptunes-style R&B, the ubiquitous Diwali beat and, most importantly, oodles of Madonna.” The album spawned the international number one and U.S. top ten hit single “Toxic”, winning Spears her first ever Grammy in the category of Best Dance Recording. “The Onyx Hotel Tour” began in March 2004 to promote the album. The tour’s choreography generated much controversy and heavy criticisms, with the presence of young children amongst the audience.

Early life : Basinger was born in Athens, Georgia. Her father, Don Basinger, was a big band musician and loan manager who landed in Normandy during D-Day. Her mother, Ann, was a model, actress, and swimmer in Esther Williams films. She has two brothers, Mick and Skip, and two sisters, Ashley and Barbara.
 
 When Basinger was sixteen years old, she started her modelling career by winning the Athens Junior Miss contest. She followed that up by winning the title “Junior Miss Georgia”. Basinger then headed to New York City to compete in the national Junior Miss pageant. It was there that Basinger was offered a modeling contract with Ford Modeling Agency. Initially turning down the offer in favor of singing and acting, Basinger reconsidered and headed back to New York to become a Ford model.

Jolie’s inventory of tattoos has become the subject of much media attention and has often been addressed by interviewers. Jolie stated that, while she is not opposed to film nudity, the large number of tattoos on her body has forced filmmakers to become more creative when planning nude or love scenes.

Personal Life: Pressly was born in Kinston, North Carolina to James Liston Pressly Sr. and Brenda Sue Smith. She has two siblings: sister, Jessica; brother, James Liston Jr. Jaime spent 11 years studying gymnastics and dancing; she was typecast as a gymnast on the short-lived TV series Push.
 
 By the time she was 14, she was already the spokeswoman for her modeling agency, “International Cover Model Search”, and she had begun to gain recognition for her modeling in the USA, as well as in Italy and Japan. Pressly attended Costa Mesa High School in California, where her mother had moved while her parents were going through the process of a divorce. Jaime subsequently sought and succeeded to have herself legally emancipated from her parents at the age of 15.

In the Zone topped the U.S. charts in its debut week, selling over 609,000 copies. This made Spears the only female in music history to have her first four studio albums debut at number one. The album had a mild reception from critics. Stylus Magazine gave the album a D and even blamed Spears’s career choices by stating, “Ultimately, In the Zone suffers greatly from Britney’s uneasy transition from teen tart to sexually powerful woman. Had Britney been in charge of her career direction instead of mercilessly prostituted by her management, she might have been able to produce something with some semblance of musical vision.” 

Activism: On October 31, 2007 Panettiere was involved in a violent confrontation with Japanese fishermen as she tried to disrupt their annual dolphin hunt in Taiji, Wakayama. She paddled out on a surfboard, with five other surfers from Australia and the United States in an attempt to reach a pod of dolphins to stop them being driven into a nearby cove and killed, but they were intercepted by a fishing boat before they could reach the dolphins. The fishermen used the boat’s propellers to block their way and at one point struck out with a boat hook in a confrontation that lasted more than 10 minutes before the surfers were forced to return to the beach. The surfers drove straight to Osaka airport and left the country to avoid being arrested for trespassing by the Japanese police. Many Japanese consider this kind of act as an attack on their culture. Taiji’s fishery cooperative union argues that these protesters “continue willfully to distort the facts about this fishery” and protester’s agendas are ” based neither on international law nor on science but rather on emotion for economic self-interest.” Hayden claims that an arrest warrant on her has been issued in Japan for her interference in the dolphin hunt. In November 2007, Hayden was awarded the “Compassion in Action Award” from the animal rights group PETA for her efforts to stop the dolphin hunt in Japan.

Jeri Lynn Ryan (born February 22, 1968) is an American actress, primarily for her roles in movies and television. She came to fame as the ex-Borg Seven of Nine on Star Trek: Voyager. Now she plays James Woods’ legal partner and district attorney, Jessica Devlin, on CBS’s, Shark.

Early life : Ryan was born Jeri Lynn Zimmermann in Munich, Germany, the daughter of American parents Sharon, a social worker, and Gerhard Florian “Jerry” Zimmermann, a master sergeant in the United States Army. She has one older brother, Mark. As a military brat, Ryan grew up on military bases in Kansas, Maryland, Hawaii, Georgia, and Texas. When Ryan was eleven, the family settled in Paducah, Kentucky. After she graduated from high school in 1986 (as a National Merit Scholar), Ryan attended Northwestern University, where she was a member of the Alpha Phi sorority. In 1989, Ryan became Miss Illinois and was a preliminary swimsuit winner at the Miss America Pageant. She finished as the third runner-up to Miss America 1990, Debbye Turner. Ryan graduated from Northwestern in 1990 with a BA in Theatre.

Her career success was highlighted by Forbes Magazine in 2002 as Spears was ranked the world’s most powerful celebrity. At a performance at the MTV Video Music Awards, she appeared with Christina Aguilera performing the song “Like a Virgin”, and was later joined by Madonna. Spears locked lips with Madonna in a highly-publicized kiss.

November 2003, Spears released her fourth studio album, In the Zone, jettisoning the Max Martin-produced synthpop of her earlier releases. The album took in lesser-known producers such as RedZone and big names including Moby and R. Kelly. Spears co-wrote eight of the album’s thirteen songs and co-produced several pieces of her material for the first time.

Her first leading role in a major film was in Hackers (1995). She starred in the critically acclaimed biographical films George Wallace (1997) and Gia (1998), and won an Academy Award for Best Supporting Actress for her performance in the drama Girl, Interrupted (1999). 

Singer :  Panettiere was nominated for a Grammy in 1999 for Best Spoken Word Album for Children for A Bug’s Life Read-Along [2000].
 
 She is currently working on her debut album, which was originally planned for release on May 8, 2007. The album, however, has been pushed back several times. It was first pushed back until August, then to December. Entertainment Weekly later confirmed that the album would now be released in 2008. Hayden is featured on the Soundtrack to Bring It On: All Or Nothing alongside with her co-star Solange Knowles. It is still unknown if a video for Your New Girlfriend will be filmed or that it has already been released. She also recorded a song titled Try for the 2007 Bridge to Terabithia soundtrack. 

She has appeared as a contestant on Celebrity Weakest Link with Marcus Patric in December 2006, ITV1’s Soapstar Superstar, reaching the last four stage and Celebrity Masterchef.
 
 In September Gemma did a 5km charity run for Breast Cancer awareness.
 
 In November 2007, Gemma joined the cast of “I’m a celebrity get me out of here”, in the “jungles” of Australia for ITV (UK). It only took Gemma 3 days to get herself in the open air shower where she delighted a generation of men (and a few women too no doubt) by getting (most of) her kit off.
 
 In November 2007, Gemma will star in film alongside Heather Graham. Her CD will be recorded in Nashville.  

After her marriage to Kevin Federline, Spears announced via her website she would be taking another career break in order to start a family. 2004 saw the release of her first greatest hits collection, Greatest Hits: My Prerogative. The album debuted at number four on the U.S. charts selling over 255,000 copies and featured three new songs, including her version of Bobby Brown’s 1988 hit “My Prerogative” which became a modest hit. The compilation included all of her singles except for “From the Bottom of My Broken Heart”, which is not included in any edition. ;)
