2008 parody Presidential campaign

On August 6, 2008, Paris appeared in a 1 minute 50 second long video, “Paris Hilton Responds to McCain Ad”, directed by Adam McKay and posted on the Funny or Die website.

The video featured Paris in a parody advertisement, and was made in response to a television campaign advert “Celeb”, broadcast in 11 US states by the 2008 John McCain presidential campaign. In Celeb, McCain briefly compared his rival Barack Obama to that of celebrities such as Paris and Britney Spears, and goes on to question his readiness to lead and criticise his energy policy. Petra Němcová (IPA: [ˈnjɛmtsovaː], pronounced NYEMtzovah; born 24 June 1979 in Karviná, Czechoslovakia, now Czech Republic) is a supermodel and the founder and president of Happy Hearts Fund. In December 2004, she was injured in Thailand by a tsunami resulting from the 2004 Indian Ocean earthquake; her then-fiancé, Simon Atlee, was killed in the tsunami.

Biography

Her father was a mason and her mother, a teacher. She became a model after being spotted at the age of 16 during a national talent search.

She was featured on the cover of the 2003 Sports Illustrated Swimsuit Issue but appeared also in the editions of 2001, 2003, 2004, 2005 and 2006. She has also modeled for Victoria’s Secret, and for many other companies in the women’s clothing market. In addition to working with world class photographers on her Sports Illustrated shoots, she was the object/subject of Joanne Gair’s body painting work. 2006-2007: Career Transition

Cuthbert’s next film project was the indie film The Quiet, which she not only co-starred in but also co-produced and helped finance. She played Nina, a temperamental 17-year-old cheerleader who suffers from sexual abuse. Cuthbert looked to her younger cousin for inspiration as to how to play a teenager. The Quiet, distributed by Sony Pictures Classics, premiered at the 2005 Toronto International Film Festival and received a limited release in Los Angeles and New York City on August 25, 2006, before expanding regionally on September 1. Patrick was discovered in San Francisco by a talent scout for the Eileen Ford Modeling Agency, and at the age of 13 she was the first teenage full time model. At 18, she left the world of modeling and enrolled at Boise State University where she earned an AAS degree in nursing and a BS in Microbiology. Career

Reid began her career at the age of six years in 1982 on the game show Child’s Play. As a child she had roles in a number of commercials for McDonald’s, Crayola, and Jell-O. She grew up in New York City suburbs, and attended the Professional Children’s School along with such celebrities as Christina Ricci, Ben Taylor, Jerry O’Connell, Sarah Michelle Gellar, and Macaulay Culkin. Although her break-through role was in American Pie in 1999, followers of the 1998 cult film The Big Lebowski already knew her as Bunnie Lebowski. Reid spent the late 1990s appearing more often on the cover of tabloid magazines than on screen. Her extroverted social life soon gave her a reputation as a party girl; in fact, U.S. magazine In Touch Weekly, recently voted Reid “top party animal”.
